great spring day
Could not ask for a better day for spring fishing on the Black River. After a great lunch at Tacos Tacos in Ludlow I arrived at the black shortly after 2pm. Black stoneflies were everywhere. Fishing pressure was very light ( by very light I mean only one other truck ) and it felt like I had the entire river to myself. In summary, the rainbows must have ate well this winter.
It was a great fight with this brown. He wanted nothing to do with coming up to the surface
Keep you updated on river conditions and my exploits.
